A Message from the Owner
Hi, I’m Isaac (Eyesick). I was 14 years old when I first discovered my passion for Barbering - growing up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, doing bowl cuts on my brother while he sat on a 5 gallon bucket! At 22, I migrated to Canada on my own with only a few items, including my well loved clippers and a dream of becoming a professional Barber. I achieved my Canadian Permanent Residency, pursued my education through Aveda Institute, and found an amazing apprenticeship opportunity at a renowned Barbershop here in Calgary. After 8 transformational years honing my skills and improving my craft, I opened The Rite Barbershop Ltd. in the exact location where I had apprenticed and worked (in the beautiful community of Renfrew)! I’m proud to carry on the Tradition of old school Barbering and excited to deliver on The Rite Values to provide our clients with the most exceptional grooming experience possible.

After 8 years of Barbering, I continue to be inspired by the freedom to create while connecting with people. When not at the shop or behind the chair, you can find me enjoying the outdoors; walking my dog, camping, biking, kayaking, long boarding or just taking a cruise in the mountains. I also love to cook and eat good food. Especially Tacos! When it’s all said and done, I wanna be remembered for my hard work and loving hard.

I graduated from Delmar College in 2019 and obtained my license in the trade shortly after. I quickly fell in love with barbering and taking after my late grandfather Pat, cutting hair has become a passion of mine.
I always welcome all walks of life and hair types in my chair. Through my passion and education in the craft, we will make confidence happen!

Every service starts with a consultation with a licensed Barber to achieve The Rite look and experience, and is polished off with our wide variety of professional grooming products.
We know things can come up - if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment please provide at least 24 hours notice. Note: cancellations with less than 24 hrs notice are subject to a 50% service fee.
